This week I read a few selections from Bradford Keeney's book, "Bushman Shaman," and preview excerpts from the new audio documentary about Ayahuasca entitled "In Search of the Divine Vegetal", created by Tom McKinnon, Leonard Cler-Cunningham, and AyasminA.

"In Search of the Divine Vegetal" explores the nexus of Western and Indigenous cosmologies in relation to plant intelligence and aspires to engender a species of hybrid consciousness consisting of science, technology, phytospirituality, and the Great Unknown.

Originally broadcast in November 2007, "In Search of the Divine Vegetal" is being re-broadcast on the CBC Radio program "Ideas" due to widespread interest and acclaim. Part 1 will air on Friday, May 16, and Part 2 on Friday, May 23, 2008. It can be heard across the globe on the worldwide web every hour on the hour from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. PST.
